Road Bike Rear Rack
- (Road biking) Road cycling is the most widespread form of cycling. It takes place primarily on paved surfaces. It includes recreational, racing, and utility cycling.

Road Bike on Roof Rack, Musick Point, Bucklands Beach
My road bike on top of my car's roof rack (a good old Triumph 2500 TC which I loved). My bike was a bit of a ''work horse" for training, and was not a pretty bike. I think it has Dura Ace Brakes and levers, Dura Ace Rear Derailleur, with Campagnolo cranks and Keywin clipless pedals, Continental Sprinter tyres with either 36 hole Mavic GP4s or Ambrosio Metamorphosis rims.
A Road Bike Turned Touring Bike
Here's a picture of how my bike looks before the trip. The small
racing saddle has been replaced with a Brooks saddle and a rear bike
rack added on with some zip ties and plastic pieces from the local
hardware store. It's currently raining out, which means the trail may
be a bit wetter than I hoped when I leave tomorrow morning. Rest of
the week looks great though!
